What a great day! We made plump and perky turkeys that are hanging up in our classroom next to the calendar. We read a book that told us about the first thanksgiving and talked about what people do on Thanksgiving day. We learned how to make a turkey using both of our hands and practiced making turkey sounds. We also all got a chance to play the game snail’s race and a letter game. Lunch today was egg salad sandwiches made from our own chicken’s eggs, vegetable soup that Mr. Galli made from the broth of the vegetables we grow, veggie sticks, carrots, apples and pineapple.
