We had a very busy day today in the ABC room! During circle time we discussed how apples come in different colors and many different varieties. We also identified the different parts of the apple. We read “Dappled Apples” by Jan Car. We also enjoyed reviewing our numbers with number flash cards. For our project we made each part of the apple, and we were asked to count out 4 black beans to use as the seeds. We had an apple taste test for snack with red, green and yellow apples, and we’re asked which one was our favorite. We then created a graph with the results. With Ms. Asim we worked on our cutting skills and strengthening our fine motor skills by cutting out crayons and then coloring them in. Have a great night!
