This morning we discussed the different types of tools and materials that artist use. Yesterday with Miss Cara we learned that Michelangelo is not just a ninja turtle but also a famous artist who painted on ceilings. We had fun using crayons and butcher paper that was taped under the table to draw on. Today we focused on Vincent Van Gogh and imitated his version of a sunflower. We used precut paper petals and precut foam petals, we then used sunflower seeds for the middle. With Miss Abbie we had snack and practiced using scissors to cut scrap paper. With Miss Sami we worked on the number 7 and completed a number 7 word and number tracing worksheet. This afternoon we will celebrate Evans 4th birthday, happy birthday Evan! Have a great evening!
