Today during circle time with Miss Cara we read “The Unscary Scarecrow”. We learned an action rhyme called “Scarecrow, Scarecrow” and also learned a song called “I’m a Little Scarecrow”. We learned that scarecrows were originally made by farmers to scare away birds and animals trying to eat their crops but are now used as a fun fall decoration! For our project we made scarecrow puppets. We gave our scarecrow a face and clothes and used strips of yellow paper for the hay. With Miss Nicole we had snack and completed a letter Ff tracing worksheet. Have a great evening!
