This morning with Miss Cara we discussed pumpkins! We discussed their shape, texture, color and size. We read “The Legend of Spookley the Square Pumpkin”. We introduced letter ago during circle time and began making a list of words that begin with G. We made pumpkins for our projects and pieces of tissue paper and construction paper to decorate the pumpkins. With Miss Nicole the children ate snack and practiced cutting along the lines with scissors. With Miss Abbie the children completed a letter Gg tracing worksheet and worked on writing their names.

* The Halloween parade is this Thursday! Please bring your child into school dressed in their costume for trick-or-treating at the Galli’s. The children will get redressed into their costumes in the after for a parade and party at 4:30! Parents and siblings are welcome to come to the afternoon parade!
