This morning with Miss Cara we listened to a poem called, “The Crayon Box That Talked”. The lesson of the poem was to teach us that each of us is like a box of crayons, each of us are unique and when we get together the picture is complete! After listening to the poem the children painted their own crayon. We also did a guess the letter activity where the children had to tell me the letter I wrote and then give me a word that begins with that letter. With Miss Maddison the children ate snack and used playdoh to make letters with. With Mrs. Lanigan the children reviewed the letters of their name and practiced writing or tracing them.
