Today in the 123’s we discussed animals during the winter. Where do they go? Where do the sleep? How do they find food? Etc. We read a book about Penguins and discussed the important facts mentioned. We practiced waddling like a penguin around the room. We also discussed germs and hand washing! And practiced singing the ABC song as we scrub the germs away! Our project today we assembled a penguin and we also used winter stamps. We practiced our scissor skills by cutting straight lines also. This afternoon we will make some dot marker penguins! For lunch we had our choice of buttered pasta or pasta with red sauce, garlic bread, meatballs, peas, corn, pears and bananas.
