Happy Friday! This morning with Miss Cara we read “If You Give A Mouse A Cookie” by Laura Numeroff. We discussed the beginning letters of the words mouse and cookie. We made brown bag mouse puppets for our project. During circle time we reviewed our calendar and practiced with rhyming words, Miss Cara said a word and the children had to give me another word that rhymes with the one given. With Miss Nicole the children ate snack and completed a rhyming word identification worksheet. With Miss Abbie the children were asked what their favorite type of cookie is and then asked to draw it, they also practiced writing their names. The children also had so much fun running around and enjoying the beautiful weather! Have a great weekend!
