Today in the 123’s we welcomed Spring! We learned a new fingerplay called 5 little flowers and we listened to a poem called “Spring is Here”. We discussed Spring what what this means for the weather, how we will dress, we will begin to see flowers grow etc. We had music class this morning, she taught Us some new spring related songs also! For our project we made handprint flowers! We each choose two spring colors to paint our hand with and make our prints on green paper (representing grass). We also explored with a few spring related 6 piece puzzles and worked independently to put them together. For lunch we had hot dogs, mini hash browns, cheese sticks, broccoli, corn, oranges and apples.
