This morning with Miss Cara we read “The Shoemaker and the Elves”. For our project we were able to choose our shoe pattern and used watercolor paints to decorate the shoe. The children also enjoyed practicing lacing and tying wth cardboard shoe temples. With Miss Abbie, the children used colored pencils to color a “Shoemaker and the Elves” coloring-sheet, they were encouraged to take their time and to try and color in the lines. They also enjoyed building with magnets and working together to complete puzzles. With Miss Nicole the children ate snack and completed a shoe matching activity. Have a great evening!
