This morning with Miss Cara we talked about spiders! We discussed the beginning letter of spider “S”, the number of legs they have and how they eat other bugs by catching them in their webs. We read “Miss Spiders Tea Party” and sang “the itsy bitsy spider” during circle. For our project we made handprint spiders. With Mrs Lanigan the children practiced tracing the number 6 and word six. They also sorted cubes by color and used bug pattern boards. With Miss Nicole the children completed an insect counting worksheet and used dry erase boards. We also have fun singing and dancing in music class with the other Miss Nicole this morning! Have a great evening!
