Today in the 123’s we were all excited to meet new friends and also see some familiar faces! We sang a song called, “Look who came to School today!” To get to know each other and be a little silly! We introduced our friends to our morning circle time as we reviewed the calendar, did some counting and number recognition and discussed the weather for today! When we were finished we listened to some movement songs like the Hokey Pokey and If your Happy and you know it! For our project today we each choose a paint color of choice and Miss Sara painted our hand as she read us a short poem! Before we went outside we all sat together in a group and listened to a story called, Spot Goes to School! We had some time to explore the playground and get some fresh air before lunch! This afternoon we will play a game called who’s missing- removing a friend from the group each round! We will also explore with play dough!
