Today, we continued reviewing proper hand washing techniques and discussed how to minimize the spread of germs.

Mrs. Denise’s Group – We read “The Berenstain Bears Visit the Aquarium”, discussed “A” words and reviewed the calendar.  Then, we were shown the proper way to form “A” and “a”. Students practiced this on a worksheet that is in their cubby.  We tried coloring without leaving white space and using multiple colors in our design.  Try to talk about a variety of “a” words at home, so students can add to our class list!

Mrs. Abbie’s Group- Students played a game where they rolled a giant die and had to match the number of dots with the number of chocolate chips on a pretend cookie.  Then, they had a fitting snack thanks to the baking skills and generosity of one of our students!

Mrs. Jessica’s Group – Every Tuesday we have music with Ms. Jessica.  We sang songs and participated in a variety of musical games.

Before lunch, children played outside and we started to set up our fish aquarium for Ms. Erin’s room.  The children will be voting on some of the items that will go inside of it later this week!
