This morning with Miss Cara we reviewed our shapes and how to identify them but the number of sides they have. We completed a recognizing shapes matching worksheet and reviewed the letters of our name and traced them on the back. We used Lincoln logs to practice making shapes and enjoyed using shape pattern boards. During circle time we read “Elmer”. We began discussing primary and secondary colors. We played color eye-spy and learned song called “The Color Song”. With Miss Lauren the children ate snack and made their own patchwork elephant Elmer using sponges and paint. Have a great evening!
