Mrs. Denise’s Group – Today we read “The great Monster Hunt”.  We were so scared to see the horrible monster that the woodland creatures were doing to find under Duck’s bed but it was actually a sleeping mouse!  How silly!  They had made a tiny problem into a large one.  We also added to our “M” word list and reviewed how to make upper and lower case M.  During free play, I worked with some interested students on the “at” word family.  They were so excited!

Miss Abbie’s Group – The students made 13 dots on ladybugs.  This project will be used on our February bulletin board.  The students also had snack and played with tabletop toys.

Miss Jessica’s Group – The students had a blast singing and dancing during music class.

It was raining before lunch today, so we had free play indoors.  We also read the story “Monsters Inc.”

*Scholastic book orders are in cubbies today.  They are due on February 1.
