This morning with Miss Cara we reviewed and traced letters A-S, we then worked one-on-one at identifying each letter. We enjoyed working together to complete an alphabet matching puzzle and a number puzzle. During circle time we talked a bit about why we were off from school yesterday and what a president is. We also read a short story about Abraham Lincoln and George Washington. We discussed how George Washington was our first president of the United States and how Abraham Lincoln is on the penny, we then passed a penny around to look at. With Miss Lauren the children ate snack and made paper plate president faces. They had a choice of making either George Washington or Abraham Lincoln. This afternoon we will have a special treat to celebrate Ella’s 4th birthday!
