This morning with Miss Cara we began making a list of words that start with letter Y. We completed a letter Yy tracing worksheet where we also colored a picture of a yak. During circle time we discussed differences in the weather that begin to occur during the springtime opposed to the weather in the winter. We read “Curious George Flies a Kite” and discussed the beginning letter of the word kite. The children also enjoyed building with legos, playing in the kitchen and using the dry erase boards. With Miss Lauren the children used scissors to cut out kite templates and then used paint and string to decorate them. With Mrs. Lanigan the children ate snack, made bracelets and enjoying using table top toys. Have a great evening!
