Today in the 123’s we were all so excited to begin the school year! I saw many new familiar faces as well as got to meet some new friends that joined us over the summer! We all got to know each other while playing a few fun games! We played who’s missing (removing a child from the group and guessing who was gone), we sang a song called “Look who came to school today”. We each had our hand painted and placed it on a paper as Miss Sara read a poem to us about the first day of school! Miss Erin had music class with us and taught us some new songs as well as sung some old favorites! We played a guessing game by touching an item inside a consealed bag and guessing what classroom toy we were feeling! The kids loved this activity and kept wanting to do more items! We had some time to get outside and explore the playground before lunch! Overall great first day for the 123 class.
