Mrs. Susan introduced the letter “D” to the class this week while listening to Donna Summer. The class focused on the differences between the letter “B” and the letter “D”. Ask your child about the “ba-da-boop” and “ba-da-bam”!

Miss Abbie lead the class in a bug counting activity. Each student took turns rolling to see how many bugs they can fit in their jar. They wrote their totals on the lunchroom white board at the end.

Miss Lauren read the class her favorite Halloween book called The Legend of Spookley the Square Pumpkin by Joe Troiano. Afterwards, the students started making their own uniquely shaped and colored pumpkins. Once they dry, the class will finish their pumpkins to create our very own Spookley Pumpkin Patch!
