This morning with Ms Cara we discussed the sound of letter “H” and continued adding to our list of words beginning with H. The children we each given sheets of albhabet stickers and asked to find the letters of their names to spell them out. The children also enjoyed using their name kits to practice name and letter recognition by using their fine motor skills to match letter clothes pins to each letter of their name. With Miss Jenna the children made paper plate suns. They used yellow and orange paint to paint the plate and then cut out triangles for the sun rays. With Mrs Asim the children also made paper plate suns and discussed the shape of the sun rays. They also practiced tracing letters A-H.
