This morning with Miss Cara we discussed the sound that letter P makes and began making a list of words beginning with the letter. The children completed a penguin coloring sheet, traced the word penguin and wrote their names on the back. We talked about penguins during circle time and learned a few facts about them. We learned a finger play called “6 little penguins” and read a book called “Penguins”. With Miss Erin the children enjoyed music class and reviewed what they learned about percussion instruments throughout January. Mrs Asim’s group practiced tracing letter P and also enjoyed music with Miss Erin. Have a great evening!
