This morning with Ms Cara we introduced letter “Ww”. We discussed the number of lines in the letter and completed a tracing worksheet for letter Ww. We used wikki sticks to make letter Ww along with other letters. The children also enjoyed building with lincoln logs, using the lacing letters and coloring with the dry erase boards. During circle time we reviewed calendar, counted to 25, discussed the beginning letter of bumblebee and learned a song called “Bees on me”. For story time we read “Honeybees”. With Miss Jenna the children ate snack and enjoyed playing the number game. For their project they made bumblebees, they used scissors to cut out the head and body, a black marker to color popsicle sticks to make the stripes and a coffee filter to make the wings. Mrs Asim’s group introduced letter “Ww”, read a story about the wind and also made the bumblebees for their project. Wednesday we will have a special visit from a superhero, you may send your child to school in superhero gear! Scholastics are due Friday.
