Monday, May 20th in Pre-K

This morning, Pre-k continued working on number formation with Mrs. Susan. Each student received a folded piece of paper, on which they had to write numbers 1 to 16. The challenge was to write the numbers without a trace to start; they had to write the numbers by looking up at our number board. For those that had a bit of trouble, Mrs. Susan wrote out the numbers they might have missed. For those that got it, they continued counting on the back of the paper.

In art class, Pre-K created butterflies by threading beads onto pipe cleaners. For this laid-back Spring project, we focused on our fine motor beading skills and patterns. After making their butterflies, the class traced animals onto paper, paying close attention to staying in the lines.
