Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a great holiday! Today we talked Kwanzaa. We discussed how Kwanzaa is a holiday celebrated in the African American culture. We also learned that it is celebrated for 7 nights and like Hanukkah a candle is lit each night. We read “My First Kwanzaa Book”. For our project we made “kinara” which is the candle holder. For lunch we had hotdogs, rolls, fries, cucumbers, banana, and peaches. Have a great night!
