This morning with Miss Cara the children listened to a poem called “The Crayon Box That Talked”. The lesson of the poem was to teach us that we are like a box of crayons, each of us unique, and when we get together the picture is complete! After listening to the poem the children painted their own crayon. We also did letter recognition activity where I wrote a letter and the children had to guess which letter it was and give me a word that starts with that letter. With Miss Maddison the children ate snack and used playdough to form letters with. With Mrs. Lanigan the children reviewed the letters of their name and then wrote or traced them.
