This morning with Miss Cara we talked about hearts, the symbol of love. We made marbled hearts for our project using pink, red and purple paint. We read “Be My Valentine” and also learned a few Valentine finger plays and poems. We also practiced making the ALS sign for love. With Miss Nicole the children ate snack and completed a heart working sheet where they traced hearts and the word “heart”. With Miss Abbie the children used scissors to cut out hearts then used crayons to color them.
