This morning with Miss Cara we discussed fairy tales. We learned that a fairy tale is a make believe story that is written for children. We also learned that these stories usually involve magic, a good/bad character and usually teach the reader a lesson. Today we read “The Frog Prince”, the children were asked questions throughout the story to make sure they were listening and understanding. For our project we made a frog prince. The children used magnets to build castles. We also reviewed calendar and words that begin with U. With Miss Nicole the children ate snack and used play dough to make the letter U and other letters. With Mrs Lanigan the children completed a letter “Uu” search, find and color activity. Have a great evening!
