This morning with Miss Cara we practiced holding a marker properly. After the children were shown how to hold the marker they completed a prewriting activity where they were told to use a marker to trace along the lines. We also reviewed the letters of or name and practiced tracing them again. During circle time we read “Dr. Seuss’s ABC’s”, reviewed calendar, counted to 7 and learned a movement and counting song called “Johnny Has a Hammer”. With Miss Lauren the children ate snack and made school busses for their project. The projects are hanging up Miss Lauren’s room! Have a great evening!
