We were so cozy in our P.J.’s today!

Mrs. Denise’s Group – Today we read “The Three Little Pigs and the Big Red Dog” by Daphne Pendergrass.  It is a Clifford version of the Three Little Pigs.  We then created our own houses using colored toothpicks and spice drop candy.  Students counted out their own materials and used trial and error to create a design that would stand up on its own.  The children loved this project!

Miss Abbie’s Group – The students had snack and then were able to do scratch art.

Miss Jessica’s Group – The children experimented with mixing paint colors today!  They will use their creations to make a paint pallet tomorrow.

We were able to squeeze in some outdoor playtime before the rain today.  We also read “Playdates Rule” by Rob McClurkan.  How would you react if your child’s play date was with an elephant?

Remember that tomorrow, breakfast will be available for you to eat with your child from 7:00-9:00am.  This is an offering and is not required.
