This morning with Ms. Cara we introduced letter Uu. We talked about the formation of the letter and completed a trace and color for the letter. The children were encouraged to take their time while coloring a picture of an umbrella. We also used the lacing letters to look for letter U and the letters in our name. During circle time we reviewed calendar, practiced counting to 11 and learned a song about shamrocks. For story time we read “A Unicorn Named Sparkle”. With Miss Jenna the children ate snack and enjoyed playing with tabletop toys. For their project they cut out a pot of gold and used paint to make a rainbow. Mrs Asim’s group introduced letter U and read a book called “Oscar the Unicorn”. They also made a pot of gold and rainbow for their project. They practiced counting to 7 and lined up 7 ponies to count. Have a great evening!
