Monday, March 11th in Pre-K

We started the day off by planning our Leprechaun Traps for St. Patrick’s Day. The students had very creative ideas, like putting glue at the bottom of our traps so the leprechauns don’t get away over the weekend, but also leaving water and a snack so they are comfortable.

It’s U week! Mrs. Susan’s class made a list of U words and completed a U worksheet. The class also played an alphabet can game; the students had to put words in a can that started with the letter on the can.

Miss Lauren’s class did a negative space water color rendition of Monet’s “Japanese Bridge” painting. The focus was the pond of water lilies at the bottom of the bridge and the trees at the top. Some students pointed out that Monet likes to paint flowers, just like Springtime!
